Sparkling Shiraz is a truly unique Australian wine style, and former Chief Winemaker Andrew Wigan was inspired to craft a great sparkling expression from Barossa Shiraz in the 1980s. Often referred to as the "Jewel in our Crown", the Black Queen Sparkling Shiraz is an indulgent, distinctive wine made using 100% Barossa grapes. The 2019 vintage was sourced from two long-term growers of premium Shiraz—Rohrlach and Ruediger—planted in the renowned subregions of Ebenezer and Light Pass.
